How Polo City is leading the way in eco-friendly, sustainable community development in Pakistan.

As climate change becomes an increasingly pressing concern, Polo City has made sustainability a cornerstone of its development philosophy. Our green initiatives are not just window dressing — they are embedded in every aspect of the community's design.

Tree Plantation Drive

Polo City has planted over 50,000 trees since inception, including:

  • Native species like Sheesham, Kikar, and Gulmohar
  • Fruit trees including mango, guava, and citrus
  • Flowering species that attract birds and pollinators

Solar Energy Integration

The entire community lighting — street lights, park lights, main boulevard — runs on solar energy. Individual homes are wired for solar panel installation, and we offer subsidized solar solutions through our partner vendors.

Water Management

Water scarcity is a real challenge in Pakistan. Polo City has developed a comprehensive water management strategy:

  • Rainwater harvesting systems in all parks and common areas
  • Wastewater recycling — treated wastewater is used for irrigation
  • Drip irrigation throughout all green spaces
  • Borehole wells with water quality monitoring

The Lakes Ecosystem

Our three lakes are not just decorative — they are living ecosystems:

  • Natural filtration using aquatic plants
  • Fish breeding programs that maintain ecological balance
  • Wetland zones that attract migratory birds
  • Boating and kayaking powered by electric boats only

Organic Farming Zone

Polo City has dedicated 20 acres to an organic community farm where residents can:

  • Rent raised garden beds
  • Participate in farming workshops
  • Access fresh produce through the weekly farmers' market

Our Commitment

Polo City is committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030. Every decision we make — from construction materials to landscaping choices — is guided by this vision.
